Hey! Great stuff! Great topic! I am kicked by technology lately obsessed with blurays. Anyways here is some I picked up and I want to share. Initially you needed high quality stuff to record in the blu ray. Now you have HD broadcast to records. So it is cool.
One might know that Panasonic now offers a ridiculous choice of 10 different recording quality modes. Along with DR mode, which offers a perfect copy of the original broadcast, there are now four MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 options for recording high-def content which capture surround sound and let you cram more on the hard drive whilst minimizing the loss in picture quality. These MPEG4 modes can also be used to record standard-def, but there are also five other modes designed for standard-def which only record in stereo.
It is interesting how John Lennon protested against war. It is during his honey moon that he sang this song along with other peace artists in Queen Elizabeth Hotel. He recorded it using a simple setup of four microphones and a four-track tape recorder rented from a local recording studio, It hit the charts even the tops.
